Multimedia Portfolio

  (In MP1 we learned Photoshop through tutorials, see them < https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1HZ4JEKalJ24jVDCDMl5XiSNq47r7y6cK?usp=sharing > then we made some projects using those skills. My takeaways are that learning to use photoshop is important because it gives you many important life skills that can be used in future careers My favorite / challenging project was the school flyer because it was very simple but still looked very nice and I was able to incorporate something about school into it) In Mp2 I plan to learn more Photoshop and create more difficult projects that include more features from photoshop  see my learning in MP2 google drive folder. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10JkPetNx37aTfFYGTXPz6HQHUS2NPsHX?usp=drive_link

  I made this by making a custom file and added a layer called mandala. Then I selected the mandela brush option and set it to hard, round and smooth . I chose a nice color for the background and started drawing nice designs 

  I added a picture of Michal Jordan dunking and chose the slogan Swish. I positioned it so that it curves along his body from his hand to his foot. Then I added red and blue and added the overlap effect so that it would pop out. Finally I added a text box promoting the Mcsm basketball team in the corner

  I added my last name and changed each individual letter by rotating them a bit so they overlapped then removed the parts where they were on top of each other \\. Then I added a nice backdrop

  Graphic Layer 1= I added a layer with polar bears looking at the camera and a sun in the background to emphasize them being hot. Then a put a layer masks so the it looks like the polar bears are in front of the sun instead of Antarctica   Text Layer 2= I added a layer text with the polar bears saying that they're hot with an ellipse around it so I can emphasize what the bears were thinking  <Add to class slide> Overall design reflection: (which text method did you use for your flier screenshot of your final design. I used text method #3  = by adding an ellipse to the text so it looked like the polar bear was saying it 

 For my first layer I put a background of Central Park in the fall which is my favorite season and made it bigger. Then I added a picture of me in Philadelphia an added a text box labeling where I was. T hen I masked the layer photos of my dog and a frame . Finally added a layer showing that I liked movies and made it stretch from the top to the bottom.

  Multimedia art is the process of trying to intergram different mediums into one piece of work. These different mediums can include animation, music and video. This is a very popular art form because it lets people engage in a diverse range of techniques. People use this as a way of self expression and to convey different ideas. There are many different uses for multimedia art in the 21st century. A popular job can be making websites or posters for a company as a graphic designer to bring more attention to a business. This is why photoshop is such a popular program to learn because of the benefits that come with knowing how to use it. You learn many different things when practicing multimedia art. You learn to modify images and remove imperfections from photos which can make photography a lot easier. Multimedia art involves many different skills and blends them together to make a beautiful art piece.
